I’ve been going through a bit of a transition lately. Mostly, it’s fueled by the fact that I have been underwhelmed with mostly everything that’s come into my life this year and I’d like to make it better – or worthy of me and my personal standards, at least. Recognizing the fact that I’m the only one that can make positive change possible has forced me to radically alter my habits.

Samovar Tea Lounge
I can’t remember exactly how I was introduced to Samovar Tea Lounge, but I was so impressed by the selection and quality of both their tea and food on my initial visit, not to mention the ambience, that I have returned to the Yerba Buena Gardens location numerous times. I’ve brought my Mother to Samovar for Mother’s Day since she adores tea service and recently attended an informational fundraiser for 300 Acres.

SF Vegan Bakesale

Fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice has the tendency to aggravate your sinuses. For me, it has the opposite effect. Mine are now cleared up.
The month of March was exhilarating on many levels. However, it’s also probably been one of the most booze-fueled I’ve had since my college days. My body has reacted accordingly and this past week, I decided to do myself a favor and drag my lethargic rear end down to Haight Street Market for some fresh fruits and vegetables to juice up and consume on a daily basis.
