Any time I put myself on a self-mandated health food regimen, my mind never fails to wander off in the direction of my favorite indulgences. One I often tend to reminisce about is Luna Park in the heart of the Mission. My friends and I have been getting into the good habit of going on an 8-mile-long run on Ocean Beach every Saturday morning. Yes, every Saturday morning for the past few weeks, we deprive ourselves of sleeping in (much like the rest of the domesticated world, especially people with kids) and head out to run in the early hours.
